It is a picturesque village located southwest of the city of Lefkada and about 12 km from it.

The tavern

In the traditional settlement of Agios Nikitas following the cobbled street just the beach and turning left in a narrow path, you will see the traditional tavern “T’ agnantio”. In the all green yard with the traditional balcony of Lefkada, you can enjoy not only the unique view to the sea but also the memorable flavours of our traditional kitchen.

Keeping the family character, we offer you unique dishes which can be accompanied with wine of our region. You can enjoy fresh fish, meat and appetizers from our Mediterranean kitchen. Daily, we were supplied with fresh fish.

We have been coming to this taverna in Agios Nikitas for 3 years now. we have tried most places in the town and found that this is the best. the food is always exceptional, the staff very friendly & efficient and it is very good value. it is popular and sometimes we have to wait for a table for a few minutes, but it is worth it.

We were in Agios Nikitas in late August to early September. We eat here 3 times. Always good food. Perhaps the best location in town, looking out over the bay from slightly up the hill. Staff efficient and pleasant and able to advise on food allergies. After 8pm you might have to que for a table

I visited this place again after one year and the food is even better. We went there almost everyday during our vacations. We ate fresh grilled fish,tuna fillet with boiled vegetables,mussles and also cooked dishes and meats(try kebab with yogurt and spicy sauce). It's nice for lunch and for dinner and it has a beautiful sea view.

Agios Nikitas is located 14 klm south-west of the city of Lefkada.
You can reach Lefkada:
· Roadly: You can reach Lefkada roadly since the island is connected with the Prefecture Etoloakarnania by a bridge.
· By bus: From Athens and Thessalonica.
· By air: Aktio’s airport is only a few kms away.
· Coastwise: via Cephalonia, Ithaca and Meganisi.
